Trademark & Educational Use Notice

Last updated: April 2026

What you're looking at

The “Product Showcase” on question.design contains user-interface recreations inspired by popular digital products (YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, Twitter / X, Airbnb, Linear, and others). These recreations exist for a single purpose: to demonstrate that our open-source design-system tokens and components can be restyled to match a wide range of visual identities.

No affiliation or endorsement

question.design is an independent, community-maintained project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the companies whose products are recreated here. No portion of this site is an official product, and nothing presented here is an official statement of any third-party company.

Educational & non-commercial use

The recreations are provided strictly for educational, research, and design-reference purposes. They are not intended to deceive users, replicate real services, or compete with the original products. No real data, accounts, or transactions flow through any recreation.

Trademarks belong to their owners

All brand names, logos, product names, and trade dress referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners. Their use here falls under nominative fair use — we reference each brand by its actual name because no other reasonable identifier exists for the visual style we are demonstrating.

Brand logos are sourced from Simple Icons , which provides SVG icons for popular brands. Simple Icons does not grant additional rights to the logos themselves — they remain the property of their respective owners.

What is original

The components, layout code, theming tokens, and visual arrangements shown on this site are original work released under this project's open-source license. They are built exclusively from this project's own design-system primitives. You are welcome to copy, adapt, and ship them in your own projects.

Takedown requests

If you represent a brand featured on this site and would prefer that we remove or revise a recreation, please open an issue on our project repository or contact the site maintainers. We will respond promptly and in good faith.

TL;DR

Every recreation is a love letter to good design, rebuilt from scratch with our components, for learning — nothing more.
